Florence V. Vajda, 95, of Edison, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Vajda was born in Perth Amboy to the late John and Theresa Konkowski and had lived all of her life in Edison.

She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.

She was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.

Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank L. Vajda in 2010, a brother Chester Konkowski, and three sisters Stephanie Kilyk, Frances Knapp and Dorothy Fraind.

Surviving are her daughter: Karen and son-in-law Richard A. Robinson of Ossining, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Entombment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery in North Brunswick. Visitation hours will be held Friday from 9:00 am till time of service.
