Obituary

Florence Lillian Pry (nee Stevens), 94, of Edison, passed away peacefully at home on September 11, 2014. Lillian graduated from Perth Amboy High School, Class of 1938. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fords and belonged to their Ladies Aid Society and the Priscillas Missionary Circle. She also belonged to their Ladies Bowling league. Lillian was also a member of the Edison Seniors Club. She enjoyed knitting, reading and watching the Game Show Network. Lillian retired as an assistant librarian in the main branch of the Edison Library System in 2000.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph who passed away in 1973; sisters, Henrietta Adams and Mildred Stevens; and her brother, Leroy Stevens.
She was the loving mother two daughters; Linda Burdash and her husband, Tim of Edison, and Carol Connolly and her husband, Christopher of Hillsborough. She was adored by four grandchildren; Timothy, Scott and Gregory Burdash and Keri Phaneuf and her five great-grandsons, Joseph and Colby Phaneuf and Matthew, Chriss and Scott Burdash, Jr, who will miss their "Gi Gi". Lillian is also survived by her nephew/godson, Howard Adams and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services will be Monday 10 am at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fords. Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Our Redeemer Memorial Fund.
