Florence M. Giulias (nee Schach), 91, of Edison, passed away on January 13, 2017. Born in Princeton, she had resided in Edison for the past 65 years. Florence was employed as a Registered Nurse with E.R. Squibb in East Brunswick prior to her retirement in 1990. She was a member of the Clara Barton First Aid Squad Auxiliary, the Edison Seniors, and the St. Demetrios Philoptochos Society. Florence loved to travel and enjoyed ceramics and crafting.
Florence was predeceased by her husband, Peter G. Giulias, in 2004; and her daughter, Denise Rostel in 2014. She is survived by two daughters: Debra Cammarata and her husband, Jerome, of Bloomfield and Dawn DeRosa and her husband, Victor, of Piscataway; her son, Peter K. Giulias, and his wife, Teresa, of Succasunna; her son-in-law, Arthur Rostel of Union; and her six grandchildren: Gregory, Jason, Michael, Christopher, Erica, and Alexis. The family wishes to thank Janina Drapala and Edyta Walec for their wonderful, loving care of Mom in her final years.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 with a Trisagion service scheduled for 2:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 9:15 at the funeral home followed by a service of Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will be in Clover Leaf Cemetery.
