Florence T. Gioia 93, of Metuchen, entered into eternal rest, Sunday June 8, 2014 at her home. She was born in Newark and has resided in Metuchen since 1959.

Florence was predeceased by her husband Victor in 1996, and her son Ron in 2004. She is survived by her daughters Victoria McLean of Lawrence Harbor, Carolyn Gioia, Linda Stewart, and Florence Calico all of Metuchen, 13 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Victor Farina and Gemma Bundi, and many nieces and nephews. Florence was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 12, 2014 at 10 am at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen. Interment will be in Lake Nelson Memorial Park. Visitation is Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
