Florence Rose Darabos 88, of Edison, entered into eternal rest, Sunday December 7, 2014 at her home. She was born in Perth Amboy and has resided in Edison for the past 58 years.

Florence was a Crossing Guard in Edison Township for 25 years before retiring in 1985.

She was a communicant of Transfiguration of the Lord Parish at Guardian Angel Church in Edison, and a member of the Bonahamton Senior Citizens.

Florence was predeceased by her husband John in 1983. She is a loving mother to her children Martha Jean "Dolly" Yannacci of Whiting, Kimberly Barber of Nicholasville KY, John Richard Chrin of Newburg, MO, and Keith John Darabos of Qatar. She is also survived by her sisters Mitzi Knapp of South Amboy, and Margie Petroff of Florida, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday December 12, 2014 at 9:15 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Guardian Angel Church. Visitation is Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
