Florence M. Centanni, 87, of Fords, passed away on August 26, 2015 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. She was born in Newark and resided in Fords since 1965. Florence was a cosmetologist at Unisex Hair Salon, Menlo Park Mall, retiring in 1996.
She was a communicant at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords.
Florence enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and visiting Atlantic City.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfonse in 1999, her son, Marc in 1994, and her brothers, John, Richard, Frank, Michael and William Page.
Surviving is her daughter, Susan Nissenbaum and her husband David of Fords, her grandchildren, Alissa, Kristin, Eric, Ashley, Amanda, Marc, Marialaina and Adrianna, her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Joseph, Nathan, Melody, Parker, Brennan, Jayliana, and Valentina, a brother, Robert Page, and a daughter in law, Laureen Ellison.
Funeral services will be held 10 AM on August 31, 2015 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Mausoleum, Colonia.
Viewing is Sunday 4-8 PM.
