Florence "Flo" Eleanor Barber, age 85, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025. Born on September 28, 1940, Flo spent her early years in New Jersey before making Palm Coast, Florida her home in her later life.

Flo was known for her warm heart, gentle humor, and deep love for her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, finding joy in simple gatherings filled with laughter and love. Her home was often filled with the sound of Elvis Presley's timeless music and the sweet aroma of her favorite blackberry Manischewitz wine.

A creative spirit, Flo took pride in her crocheting, crafting countless blankets and keepsakes that will forever remind her loved ones of her kindness and care. Flo also loved spending her time playing bingo — a game that brought her both excitement and companionship.

Florence was preceded in death by her second husband, Lambert J Barber; her first husband, William Egry Sr.; her sons Lambert Barber Jr. and William Egry. As well as her grandson Michael J Burnett Jr.; and her dear sisters and brothers, Samuel Ringled, Charles Ringled, Richard Ringled, Anna Mae Sherrel, Eva Anthony, Victoria Vanderstine, Ida Meehan, and Loretta Ringled.

Flo is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen Gesek and Lisa Burnett her husband Michael J Burnett; seven cherished grandchildren — Christopher Gesek, Stephanie Minder (husband Michael Minder) Kevin Gesek, Jessica Gesek, Heather Burnett (husband Travis Halbut), Brianne Burnett, and Allie Burnett — as well as six adored great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. Florence was also survived by her two sisters, Marian Anderson, Betty Gattuso, and her brother Harold Ringled.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.

Florence Eleanor Barber will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in Hopelawn, New Jersey. Graveside services will take place at noon, 12 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, officiated by Reverend Szasz of Magyar Reformed Church, Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
