Filomena Caiola (nee Petrosino), 94, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on March 8, 2015, at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison.  Born in Newark, she resided in Fords and Edison prior to her move to Toms River 10 years ago.  She was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.  Filomena was a seamstress and full-time housewife.  She enjoyed going to Atlantic City, cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry.

She was predeceased by son, Joseph N. Caiola, in 2014 and her siblings: Richard, Frank, Philip, Jim, Helen and Carmella Petrosino, Mildred D'Agostino, Mary Cardell, and Angelina Malloy.

Filomena is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Nicholas J. Caiola, Sr.; son, Nicholas J. Caiola, Jr. and his wife, Loretta, of Edison; daughter-in-law, Carol Caiola of Edison; and her grandsons, Joseph and Anthony.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, from 7-9 pm and Friday, March 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ.  Funeral services will be on Saturday at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.  Entombment will be in Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery.
