Fe E. Morales, 84, of Perth Amboy, N.J., died Jan. 8, 2024, at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Esperanza, Las Villas, Cuba, on Aug. 1, 1939, she lived in Santa Clara, Las Villas for the rest of her life in Cuba.

Fe and her family left Cuba and headed for Madrid, Spain, in 1971. The family relocated to Perth Amboy in 1974. Fe was an assembly-line worker for Emerson Quiet Kool in Avenel for 18 years and later worked for the Perth Amboy Adult School as a food service worker.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church for nearly 50 years and served for many years as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Legion of Mary.

Fe was passionate about cooking. While her specialty was creating cuisine from her native Cuba, she also was open to learning new recipes. She frequently baked for fundraisers and events at her church.

An avid traveler, Fe visited many European countries with her family. She traversed many states and enjoyed several winters with her husband in Florida.

She was predeceased by her son, Humberto F. Morales, in 1990 and her husband, Humberto A. Morales, in 2011.

Fe is survived by two daughters: Fe B. Morales of Perth Amboy and Patricia Morales Larmour and her husband, George, of Perth Amboy. She also is survived by two grandchildren, Daneuska Gonzalez (Ruben) of Florida and Humberto A. Morales II (Darinka) of Florida and two great-grandchildren, Landen and Logan.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, N.J. 08861 on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 380 Smith St. in Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery at 703 Amboy Ave. in Perth Amboy.
