Everett Erickson, 88, of Fords, died July 24, 2012, at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Edison. Born in Perth Amboy on May 15,1924, he resided in Fords most of his life. He was a bulk operator for Amboy Terminaling Co. in Perth Amboy. He served in the US Army during World War II.
Everett was predeceased by his brother, Hans Eriksen, and three sisters: Murial Cleary, Frances Lipnik, and Nancy O'Connel. He is survived by his first wife, Alma Erickson of Fords; his son, Alan Erickson of Fords; his daughters, Linda Wojtowicz of Colonia and Gloria Roman of Avenel; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his brother, George Ericksen of NJ; his sisters Gladys Rask of Woodbridge, Doris Clausen of Toms River, Lois Gorman of South Plainfield, and Jeanette Eriksen of CA.
Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge, NJ.
