Evan R Hersh, 47, of the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge, passed away suddenly on Monday August 29, 2011, at his home.

Evan was born in Engelwood, raised in Edison, was a former resident of South Amboy and has resided in Menlo Park Terrace the past six years. He was a former Warehouseman with Troy Chemical of Newark.

Evan is survived by his wife of 13 years, Rachel (Bowen) Hersh; his 2 daughters, Kathryn Raven Hersh and Laci Theresa Hersh both at home; his parents, Phyllis and Sanford Hersh of Boca Raton, FL; and his sister, Marcy Wyatt and her husband Jim, of Amherst, MA.

Visiting hours will be on Sunday, September 4, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon at from the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840. A private cremation will follow.
