Eustaquia de López, 93 years of age, of Perth Amboy, NJ passed away October 13, 2022 Hackensack Meridian Health Hospital, Old Bridge, NJ. She was born on September 20, 1929 in Callao, Peru. Her whole life, Eustaquia was a dedicated mother, wife, and grandmother. She was an avid church goer and great believer in the power of prayer. Eustaquia would often pray to the Señor de Los Milagros, the Patron of Peru. She immigrated to the United States 30 years ago and became a US citizen in 2008.

Eustaquia loved to listen to Salsa and Valses. On special occasions she would like to dance. At home Eustaquia would either be cooking or sewing. Whenever you went visit, Eustaquia made sure you left with a gift. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and sense of humor. Eustaquia was strong-willed, never giving up and always fighting for what was right. She was an example for her whole family.

Eustaquia is predeceased by her husband Jose Luis Lopez Castro, who passed away in 2000 and her daughter Aurora Lopez, who passed away in 1992.

Eustaquia is survived by her three children, Jose Luis, Rosa Maria and Angelica; 10 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave, Perth Amboy where funeral services will begin at 9:30am on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00am Our Lady of Fatima Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Hopelawn, NJ.

Eustaquia de López, 93 años de edad, de Perth Amboy, NJ falleció el 13 de octubre de 2022 en Hackensack Meridian Health Hospital, Old Bridge, NJ. Nació el 20 de septiembre de 1929 en Callao, Perú. Toda su vida, Eustaquia fue una dedicada madre, esposa y abuela. Era una asistente fiel de la iglesia y una gran creyente en el poder de la oración. Eustaquia solía rezar al Señor de Los Milagros, el Patrón del Perú. Emigró a los Estados Unidos hace 30 años y se convirtió en ciudadana en el 2008.

A Eustaquia le encantaba escuchar Salsa y Valses. Le gustaba bailar solo en ocaciones especiales. En casa, Eustaquia siempre estaba cocinando o cosiendo. Cuando ibas de visita, Eustaquia se aseguraba de que te fueras con un regalo. Será recordada por su bondad, fortaleza y sentido del humor. Eustaquia tenía un carácter fuerte, nunca se rindió y siempre luchó por lo que era correcto. Ella fue un ejemplo para toda su familia.

Eustaquia se reúne con su esposo José Luis López Castro, quien falleció en 2000 y su hija Aurora López, quien falleció en 1992.

A Eustaquia la sobreviven sus tres hijos, José Luis, Rosa María y Angélica; 10 nietos; 29 bisnietos; y 5 tataranietos.

El velorio será el martes 18 de octubre de 5 a 9 de la tarde en Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Una liturgia fúnebre comenzará  a las 10 de la mañana el 19 de octubre en la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Fátima en Perth Amboy. El entierro será en el cementerio Holy Rosary, Hopelawn, NJ.
