Eugene V. Zielinski, 89, of Fords, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on April 22, 2023. He was born on March 14, 1934, in Throop, PA. Eugene served in the US Army as a Master Sergeant. He was a Line Technician for Verizon. Eugene was a member of the Brotherhood of the Hubs in Perth Amboy. He loved to bowl and was an avid golfer.

Eugene was predeceased by three sisters: Dorothy, Marlene and Geraldine.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara Zielinski, of Fords; three sons, Mark Zielinski, and his wife, Lori, of South Plainfield; Kenneth Zielinski, of CA; and Glenn Zielinski, and his wife, Audrey, of El Camino, CA; two daughters, Karen Mabus, and her husband, Howard, of FL; and Marie Zielinski, of CO; three stepdaughters, Dorothy Erdi, of Monmouth Junction; Doreen Procaccini, and her husband, Camillo, of Monmouth Junction; and Dianne Greer, and her husband, David, of Spring Hill, FL; nine grandchildren: Nicole, Danielle, Michael, Julianne, Ezekiel, Shannon, Leslie, Kaitlyn, Brian and Jennifer; great-grandchildren: Logan, Leonardo, Makenna, Addison, Mason and Taylor.

The visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863 on Wednesday, 3-7 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday 5:45 pm in the funeral home. Cremation is private.
