Eugene "Gene" A. Petroff, 63, of Edison died Sunday August 15, 2010, at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center. Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in Edison for most of his life.
Eugene owned E-Z Living Mobile Home Service Heating and Air Conditioning for 30 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords and a member of the Clara Barton American Legion Post 324 in Edison. He also served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
He was predeceased by his father Andrew. Surviving are his wife, Barbara A. Winters Petroff to whom he was married for 39 years; 3 daughters Leanne (John) Mraz of Edison, Maureen (Mike) Kellerman of Hopelawn, and Michelle (Russ) Clancy; 5 grandchildren: Jason, Isabella, Logan, Colton, and Hayden; his mother Marge A. Petroff of Clearwater, FL; a brother William A. (Ann) of Brooksville, FL; a niece Danielle Gobielle of Stirling, VA; and 2 great-nieces.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 19, 2010, at 10am from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church at 10:30 am. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 p and 7-9pm.
