Esther Parnes Boaro, of Fort Worth Florida, formerly of Perth Amboy, NJ passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was 96.

Born in New York City, Esther was the last surviving of four children born to Jacob and Anna Fuchs Parnes.  She grew up in Perth Amboy where her family owned and operated   Parnes Bakery for many years.  She was a secretary for the Woodbridge Township School District at Woodbridge High School for over 20 years. One of her favorite pastimes was having time to go ballroom dancing.

Esther is survived by her son Jack Adler and his wife Kelly; daughters Rhonda Ahlheim and Leslie Anvrari and her husband Shahram; four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 10:30 am until the time of services at 11:30am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy. Interment will immediately follow in the Congregation Shaarey Tefiloh Cemetery in Perth Amboy.
