Ernest J. Boros 88, of Jackson, entered into eternal rest, July 26, 2017, at Sunrise of Jackson Assisted living.  He was born in Keasbey and lived in Iselin for 30 years before moving to Cherry Quay in Bricktown, then to Greenbriar Woodlands in Toms River, and finally to Jackson 5 1/2 years ago.

Ernest was an Electrician at Carborundum in Keasbey for 40 years before retiring in 1989.  He then worked at Laffin Chevrolet in South River for 3 years.  He was President of the Band Parents Assoc. at JFK High School in Iselin in the late 70's to the mid 80's.  He faithfully served his country in the Navy during the Korean War.

Ernest was predeceased by his wife, Rose M. Boros, in 2012; his daughter, Nancy, in 1957; and his son, Ernest Jr., in 1988.

He is survived by his daughters: Susan Sprofera of Hillsborough, Nancy Fleury of Brielle, Eileen Stambo of Hillsborough, and Betty Boros of Ewing.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Nicole, Andrew, Matthew, Gregory, Marissa, Brandon, and Tyler; and his great-granddaughter, Brynlee.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery.  Visitation is Monday from 4 pm to 8 pm.
