Emma L. Pozo (nee: Gomez), 77, of Perth Amboy, passed away on November 21, 2015 at Care One in Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy.
She was born in Santa Clara, Cuba and has resided in Perth Amboy since 1978.
Emma was an educator by trade in Cuba, while in Perth Amboy she worked for 20 years at Mel's Children Wear as a machine operator, she also dedicated many years to childcare in her home, impacting their lives in a loving and nurturing way.
Emma was predeceased by her husband Jose in 2014 and a brother, Abel Gomez.
Surviving are her children, Jose R. and his wife Rosie of Fords and Maritza Rodriguez and her husband Jesus of Perth Amboy, her grandchildren, Monica, Raul, Gabriel, and Julian, her sisters, Mirnia Linares and Melba Suarez and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave. Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery. Viewing is Tuesday 6-9 PM.
