Emma H. Gordon's Obituary
Emma H. Gordon, 89, of Edgewater, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, January 9, 2016.
She was born in Woodbridge and was formerly of Gwynn Oak, MD, and Somerset, NJ.
She retired 27 years go after over 30 years with the Federal Government Environmental Protection Agency in Edison.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Elijah Gordon, who died in May of 1977.
Emma leaves behind her beloved children: Donna Williams, with whom she resided; Eli Gordon and his wife, Barbara, of Perth Amboy; Craig Gordon and his wife, Cynthia, of New Orleans, LA; and Toni Gordon Brown and her husband, Leonard, of Gwynn Oak, MD; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 6 great–great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 15, 2016, from 10 am to 12 Noon, followed by services at 12 Noon at the First Baptist Church, 130 Sewaren Ave., Sewaren, NJ 07077.
Interment will be private.
