Emily Dunie Thompson of North Plainfield, NJ, passed away May 24, 2013. Emily was a much-loved and admired teacher of special education in the middle and high schools in the North Plainfield school system. She was a graduate of Metuchen High School and Marshall University. Family was always a priority in her life and she was adept at keeping everyone up-to-date through the use of photos and lively comments on social media. Emily's cheerful, caring personality and big heart brought joy and love to all she touched. Emily truly made a difference in this world and will be sorely missed forever.
Emily is survived by her husband, Neil; her children, Alexander and Kassie; her parents, Sue and Stephen Dunie; her brother, Robert Evan Dunie; his wife, Stacey Stump and their son, Benjamin Eli; her mother-in-law, Christine Warwick; her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved and who loved her.
