Emily J. (Clees) McCracken, 87, of Woodbridge, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.  Born in Perth Amboy, on March 22, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William and Wanda (Baginski) Clees.  Emily was an Administrator for Food Services in the Woodbridge School District, retiring in 2000 after 30 plus years.  She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School Class of 1954, and a communicant of St. James Church Woodbridge.

Emily was predeceased by her husband Earl A. McCracken in 2000, and her siblings Elsie (husband Rudolph) Kuzma and Robert Clees.

Emily is survived by her son Mark J. McCracken, her granddaughter Jennifer Velasquez (husband Steve), grandson Earl McCracken, and two great-grandchildren: Savannah Ryan and Christopher Ryan.  Further surviving Emily is her identical twin sister Evelyn Kovach, sister-in-law Mary Saksinsky, as well as many nieces, nephews, and their respective extended families.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 9-10 AM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.  We will begin to leave at 10 AM followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at St. James Church, Woodbridge.  Interment will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Keasbey.
