Obituary

Elvira Boland, 95, of Hopelawn, passed away on January 11, 2023, at the Cranbury Center in Monroe Township. She was born in Keasbey on September 6, 1927. Elvira resided in Hopelawn for over 50 years. She worked for J&J, Sears, and Indiana General, where she participated in the manufacturing of the Lunar Excursion Module. Elvira also enjoyed gardening and annual vacations to Lake George.

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Richard Boland, in 1999; a daughter, Karen Nagy; two grandsons: Kevin Kisielewski and Don O'Keefe; a brother, Bertalan Toth; and a sister, Irene Toth.

Elvira is survived by two daughters: Christine O'Keefe, and her husband Bryan, of Monroe; and Maureen Kisielewski, and her husband Anthony, of Sebastian, FL; grandchildren: Katy Grzywinski, and her fiancé John Christensen, of Millstone Twp.; Robert Yannick, of NC; Sean O'Keefe, and his wife Shana, of Roselle Park; and Adrienne O'Keefe of Belford; and six great-grandchildren: Matthew and Elvira Christensen; and Morgan, Brody, Gwendolyn, and Brendan O'Keefe.

Visitation will be Sunday, 2pm – 4pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will be Monday, 10am, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway, NJ.
