Elsie Miller Christensen, 89, of Woodbridge died February 9, 2011, at Raritan Bay Medical Center.

Born in Denmark, Elsie was a life-long resident of Woodbridge. She was a Telephone Operator for Bell Telephone. Elsie was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Carteret; a member of the St. Stephen Church Ladies Auxillary; and she was a St. Stephen ladies aid. She was a Member of the Danish Sisterhood of America, Freja Lodge in Edison.

Elsie is survived by two cousins: Raymond Christensen of New York State, and Charlotte Bussie of
Colonia. She is also survived by her Goddaughter, Susan M. Catrone of Carteret; friends Deborah C. Larsson of Colonia, Elsie Feltus
of Woodbridge; and Henry Johnsen of Scotch Plains.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at 11:00 am at St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church in Edison under the direction of FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ. 08863. Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church.
