Elsa Noemi Pozada, 69, of the Fords section of Woodbridge Twp. passed peacefully at home on Thursday, May 19, 2022. she was born in Lima, Peru immigrated to the U.S., in 1993, at first settling in Orange, NJ, later moving to Kearny, then to Edison before finally relocating to Fords, where she has resided since 2009.

She had been working in housekeeping for many years with ABM Cleaning Services in Short Hills, NJ.

She was a hardworking and a very generous, family orientated woman, who loved entertaining and cooking, especially preparing large elaborate festive holiday dinners and meals for various family gatherings and special occasions. She loved organizing detail family gatherings, her attention to each small detail were meticulous from the place settings to the napkins, and the matching Christmas shirts everyone wore. In addition, always thinking of others she never forgot her roots and continued the long-standing tradition of sending gifts to her family in Peru.

She loved to read and enjoyed watching her Spanish soap operas on TV.

Most of all, she cherished her children and adored her grandchildren.

She leaves behind her beloved husband Alfredo, her three beloved children; Katterine Limo-Flores and her husband Eric Flores, Karen Limo and her husband Jose Munoz and Alfredo Limo and his wife Nancy Limo, her four precious grandchildren; Kenneth Munoz, Kaitlyn Flores, and Jacob and Joshua Limo, and her siblings Enrique Pozada, Cesar Pozada, Glenda Pozada De Canales and Angel Pozada.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 24, 2022 from 5 pm- 8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday May 25, 2022 at 9:30 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:15 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen, NJ, Entombment will follow in St Gertrude's Cemetery Mausoleum, in Colonia.

Era una mujer trabajadora y muy generosa, orientada a la familia, a la que le encantaba el entretenimiento y la cocina, especialmente preparando grandes cenas festivas elaboradas y comidas para diversas reuniones familiares y ocasiones especiales. Le encantaba organizar reuniones familiares detalladas, su atención a cada pequeño detalle era meticulosa desde los adornos de la mesa hasta las servilletas, y las camisas navideñas a juego que todos usaban para mantener la tradicion navideña y tener la foto familiar. Además, siempre pensando en los demás, nunca olvidó sus raíces y continuó la larga tradición de enviar regalos a su familia en Perú.

Le encantaba leer y disfrutaba viendo sus telenovelas hispanas en la televisión.

Sobre todo, queria y cuidaba de sus hijos y adoraba a sus nietos.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el M iércoles 25 de M ayo de 2022 a las 9:30 a.m. desde la funeraria , seguidos de una liturgia fúnebre a las 10:15 a.m. en la Catedral de San Francisco de Asis en Metuchen, NJ . El e ntierro seguirá en el Mausoleo del Cementerio de Sa.
