Ellen A. Tauscher Ward-Brennan, 90, of Metuchen, passed peacefully on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Care One in Edison.  She was born on September 14, 1929, in New Brunswick NJ and was a longtime resident of Metuchen.  She was a graduate of St. Peter's High School in New Brunswick, with the Class of 1948.  She retired in the early 1990's, after over 20 years as a Secretary with RCA/GE Corp. of Somerville.

Ellen was predeceased by her husbands; John "Mickey" Ward, Kenneth Ward, and David Brennan and her sons; Michael Ward, who died in 2015 and Timothy Ward, 2019.

She leaves behind her son, Francis Ward and his wife, Huong, of North Carolina and 3 daughters:  Mary Ellen Musgrove and her husband, Marvin, of Walton, West Virginia; Barbara Ann Farrell of Metuchen, NJ; and Kathleen Tihanich and her husband, William, of Jamesburg, NJ; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and her brother, John Taucher, of Hillsborough, NJ.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen, NJ 08840.

The graveside services for her cremated remains will take place on Friday, March 6, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen.
