Ella B. Lepore, 78, of Menlo Park Terrace, died peacefully Friday October 14, 2022, at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison after a short battle with breast cancer.

Ella was born and raised in Newark, NJ to the late Frederick and Theresa (Yauch) Murrin. After graduating high school, Ella had a passion for beauty and worked as a hairdresser throughout her life before retirement. In her free time, Ella took joy in gardening and watching Hallmark movies. She was a devout catholic and dedicated parishioner for Our Lady of Peace Church, even during the pandemic, Ella would always watch daily mass and say her rosary. Most of all she loved her family. Ella loved spending time with them, and she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite time of year was the holidays, she would have every inch of her home decorated to perfection.

Ella is predeceased by her son, Nicholas Lepore (June 5, 2022). She is survived by her daughter, Lisa DeBari (Michael); her siblings, Joan Minnicozzi and Robert Murrin; her daughter-in-law, Doreen Lepore; her five grandchildren, Valerie Smith (Dennis), Daniel Lepore (Crystal), Michael Tyler DeBari (Jaimee), Nicholas Lepore (Cassandra) and Alec DeBari (Annie); her nine great-grandchildren, Peyton, Aurora, Everly, Daniel, Nicholas, Greyson, Maverick, Carter, Ozzy; along with many extended relatives and close friends. She will be dearly missed.

A memorial Mass will be held on Monday October 24, 2022, starting at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 620 Amboy Ave, Edison, NJ 08837. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ella's memory to the Cancer Research Institute, 29 Broadway, Floor 4 New York, NY 10006-3111 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
