Obituary of Elizabeth Vargo
Elizabeth Vargo, 91, of South Plainfield, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the Aristacare of Norwood in Plainfield. Mrs. Vargo was born in Keasbey to the late Sandor and Elizabeth (Visnyai) Wishney and had previously lived in Fords before moving to South Plainfield.
Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She had also been employed by Two Guys before it's closing in 1982.
She was a member of the Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Mick in 2016, and also by her sister Mary Stropkai and brother Alex Wishney.
Surviving are her son: Mickey Vargo of Fords, her daughter: Barbara Vargo of South Plainfield, her sister: Lillian Latkovich of Fords, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID crisis, private funeral services were held under the direction of the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave. Fords. Interment took place in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Fords. To leave online condolences, please visit mitruskafuneralhome.com.
