Elizabeth Bandics Szilagyi, 84, of Fords, entered into eternal rest on  February 15, 2017, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.  She was born in New Brunswick and lived in Fords all of her life.

Elizabeth was a Secretary for Woodbridge Township for 25 years under the DeMarino and Mc Greevey Administrations before retiring in 1995. She had also worked as a Secretary for a law office in Woodbridge.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R C Church in Fords.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1999.  She is survived by her children: John Jr. of Fords, Suzanne Bowden of Cape May County, and Marylou Hardy and her husband, Robert, of New Hampshire; and her six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017, at 10 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, Fords.  Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
