Elizabeth "Betty" (nee: Nogrady) Sarisky, 92, a life-long resident of Edison, passed peacefully on Saturday, January 26, 2013,at The Kindred Nursing Care Unit at RWJUH at Rahway.

She had been employed as a Presser for 47 years with Curran-Pfieff Corp. of Edison before retiring in 2000. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords and was a member of the Clara Baron Seniors Social Club for over 25 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Sarisky, who died in 1957; her brothers, Steve and John Nogrady; and sisters, Ann Petercsak, Ronnie Sovart, and Helen Soboleski. Betty leaves behind her daughters, Jeanette Sarisky with whom she resided, and Barbara Fiore and her husband, Michael of Monroe Twp.; her sisters, Marge Cebula of Manville and Mary Burke of Lady Lake, FL; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews, and a cousin.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 10 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
