Elizabeth "Betty" Pogany, 95, of Bethlehem, PA, passed peacefully on April 13, 2018, at the Weston Rehabilitation Facility in Hellertown, PA.

Born and raised in Carteret, she was formerly of Perth Amboy, where she resided most of her life, before moving to Bethlehem, PA, six years ago.

She was a former parishioner of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Perth Amboy.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Andrew Pogany, who died in 1994.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Louise Pogany and her husband Art, of Bethlehem, PA and her son, William Pogany of Highland Park, a grandson, George Poppe, IV and his wife Sara, of Ramsey and her two great grandchildren; Dylan and Willow.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 10 am to 1 pm, with a funeral service at 1 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave. Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Cremation will follow privately, with the interment of her cremated remains in St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge, at a later date.
