Elizabeth Norma Nimetz, 79, of Metuchen died Monday, February 14, 2011, at her home.
Born May 10, 1931 in East Orange, she has lived in Metuchen since 1969. Norma was a retired legal secretary at Jelco in Bridgewater (formerly part of Johnson & Johnson). She was a communicant of St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen.
Her husband George Nimetz Sr. died in 2006. Surviving are her sister, Ruth Kletz and husband Charles of Bridgewater; nephew, Chuck Kletz of Bridgewater; step-daughter, Georgine Pinal; step-grandchildren: Melissa Day and Vanessa Bidal; 3 step-great-grandchildren: Kevin Day, and Julian and Isabelle Bidal.
Private funeral services were held under the direction of Flynn and Son Funeral Home of Metuchen.
