Elizabeth Borkes Lesko, 94, formerly of Fords, entered into eternal rest July 16, 2018, at the Davis Community in Wilmington, NC.  She was born in Fords and lived there most of her life before moving to North Carolina with her son and daughter-in-law.

Elizabeth was a Secretary at Raritan Arsenal in Edison for 11 years before retiring in 1953 to raise her family.  She later worked at Fashion Bug for 11 years.

She was a former communicant of Our Lady of Peace R C Church, a member of the Altar Rosary Society, and a member of the Fords and Keasbey Senior Citizens.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Stephen, in 1999.  She is survived by her children Dr. Richard J. Lesko and his wife, Debbie, of Tucson, AZ; Kenneth S. Lesko and his wife, Kathy, of Leland, NC; Cindy A. Porter and her husband, Bart, of Houston, TX; her grandchildren: John Lesko, Alyssa Porter-Smith and her husband JR, and Jenna Porter; and her brother, Joseph Borkes, and his wife, Fran, of Bayville.

Funeral services will be on Saturday at 8:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 9 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace R C Church.  Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday from 4-8 pm.
