Obituary of Elizabeth Nancy Brancati


Elizabeth Nancy Brancati, 85, of Old Bridge, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Mrs. Brancati was born in Perth Amboy to the late Steven and Elizabeth Balla and had lived the last fifty years in Old Bridge.

She was a nurse with Raritan Bay Medical Center Old Bridge for forty three years before retiring in 2000. Elizabeth was a member of the Magyar "Hungarian" Reformed Church, Perth Amboy.

Mrs. Brancati was predeceased by her husband Luciano Brancati in 2004 and a brother Alexander Balla in 2004. She is survived by her Nieces, Valerie Matthews and her husband Joe of Helmetta, Luann Scodari and her husband Cherlie of Pennsylvania, Lois Mozeiko and her husband Jeff of South River, Nancy Balla of Laurence Harbor, Robin Michaud and her husband Dale of Pennsylvania, Dawn Hormel and her husband Quentin of Wappingers Falls, nephews, Steven Balla of Helmetta, Darin Locklin and wife of Toms River, sister in law, Anna Lacklin of Jackson, several grand and great grand nieces and nephews, and several very dear friends.

Funeral services will be held 11/21/22, Monday 11:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Hopelawn. Visitation hours will be held Monday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
