Elisabetta Maruca (nee Gidaro), 89, passed away at Raritan Bay Medical Center on, July 7, 2014. She was born in Tiriolo, Italy, on January 15, 1925. She worked as a seamstress in Perth Amboy for many years. Elisabetta was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and friends. Elisabetta was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Giuseppe Maruca, in 1984; two brothers, Domenico Gidaro and Saverio Gidaro; and her twin sister Maria, Gidaro Verre.

She is survived by her son Dominic Maruca of Canonsburg, PA; daughter, Caterina Tindall and her husband Danny of Perth Amboy; four grandchildren: Michelle and Joseph Maruca and Ashley and Mary Tindall; great-grandson Damien Sosa; two sisters, Yolanda Colacino and Mafalda Trupia and a brother Joseph Gidaro.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863 on Thursday, 7-9 pm, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will begin at the funeral home on Saturday 9 am followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy in the Good Shepherd Parish at the Most Holy Rosary Church Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
