Eleanor Hooker, 89, of Perth Amboy, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Alameda Care Center in Perth Amboy. Born to William and Stacia Hooker in 1923, Eleanor was a life-long resident of Perth Amboy. She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School and a communicant of St. Stephen's Church. She was an Accounts Payable Clerk for General Cable and several other companies throughout her career.

Ms. Hooker was predeceased by her parents and her nephew, John Hooker and his wife Joan of Trenton. She is survived by her nephew William D. Hooker of FL; her great-niece, Laura Hooker; and great-nephews: John J. Hooker, Lawrence Hooker, Joseph M. Hooker, and Thomas F. Hooker.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012, a 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church of the Blessed John Paul II Parish, Center & Mechanic Street, Perth Amboy, NJ. Interment of cremated remains will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
