Eleanor Gleixner, known to her family and friends as, Nanny, passed away on August 9, 2021.  She was born on March 10, 1946 in New York City and grew up on the upper east side of Manhattan before eventually moving to New Jersey.

She started working at Macy's on 34 ^th Street in New York City in 1973 before retiring in 2012.  She enjoyed playing the lottery and most of all going to Vegas and Atlantic City to play the slots.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Allison (husband Rob); 3 grandsons Michael, Christopher and Nicholas; one great-grandson Alexander and her brothers George (wife Donna) and Stephen.   She was predeceased by her sister Juliet and brother John Kandrach.

A Sunset mass is being planned for a future date.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eleanor's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
