Elaine Zoppi, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024, at the age of 87. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Elaine spent over 60 years in Edison, NJ, where she created a lasting legacy of love and kindness.

Elaine is survived by her two sons, Thomas and Nicholas Zoppi, and her daughters-in-law, Cheryl Zoppi and Jennifer Malone. She was a cherished grandmother to Gianna Zoppi and her husband, Zac Hagenberg. Elaine was predeceased by her devoted husband, Nicholas Zoppi.

Elaine had a deep passion for flowers and gardening, and she found joy in spending time with her family and friends. Her warm spirit and generosity touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 2:00pm-4:00 PM and 7:00pm-9:00 PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Fords. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Elaine's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, continuing her legacy of caring for others.

Elaine's kindness and love will remain in the hearts of those who knew her, and she will be missed.
