Elaine S. Rebovich Leiter, 82, of Fords, passed away at home on April 9, 2024. She was born on October 2, 1941, in Perth Amboy. She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School and the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. She was a Buyer and Sales Manager for the Catherine Stores. Elaine was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy, where she was a very active member. She was the President of the Mother's Guild for over 40 years and a Chairperson of the Parish Council. Elaine volunteered in Peter's Pantry, oversaw the annual fashion show, monthly tricky trays and many fund raisers. She was a member of the Royal Garden Club in Perth Amboy.

Elaine was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Rebovich.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joel Leiter, of Fords; a son, Jason Leiter, and his companion, Karen, of Belmar; a daughter, Deborah Leiter, of Fords; two granddaughters, Chloe and Isabel; and a sister-in-law, Carol Rebovich.

Visitation will be Friday, April 12, 2024, 3-7 pm, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 183 Rector St., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

A Service of Requiem will be on Saturday at 10 am in the church. Interment will follow in the church's cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine's name may be made to Peter's Pantry at St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
