Elaine M. Peterson (nee: Miller), 77, life-long resident of Fords, died on Monday April 11, 2011, at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.

Elaine was employed in the Clerical Department with the Revlon Corp. in Edison for over 20 years before retiring in 1992. Prior to that she was employed with Household Finance Corp. from 1951-1961 in the same capacity.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Perth Amboy, The A.C.M.E. Club of Fords, and The Sewing Club of Fords.

Elaine is predeceased by her husband, Gordon N. Peterson, who died in 1988; her parents, Gertrude and Christian Miller; and her stepmother, Thyra Miller.
She is survived by her two sons: Glenn G. Peterson and his wife Penny of Matawan, and Scott R. Peterson and his wife Patti of Fords; her two grandchildren, Scott A. Peterson and Danielle Peterson; her two brothers, Harold Miller of Wheaton, IL, and Scott Forbes of Tampa, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be on Friday April 15, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords NJ 08863. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery Perth Amboy.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 14, 2011, from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.
