Eileen Gallo, 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in Somerset.

Born and raised in Jersey City, Eileen was the daughter of the late Guy and Hilda Cieparo Bowen.  She had been an invaluable asset to Roy's Buena Vista Restaurant in Jersey City where she worked as a waitress for many years.

In addition to her late parents, Eileen endured the passing of two of her children, Kim Armocida in 1993, and Dominick Gallo in 2020.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Dominick in 2012.  She leaves to mourn her son Frank Armocida who has been an indispensable help to her, especially in these later years, and her granddaughter Justine Vidjanagni.

Friends may call at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm where funeral services will begin on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 10:00am. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30am in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Fords.  Interment will take place in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
