Edward "Ed" Sutkowski, 89, of Colonia, passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Perth Amboy, and resided in Colonia for 62 years.
He graduated from Perth Amboy High School with the Class of 1940.
Ed was a devoted and dedicated trustee at St. Michael's Byzantine Rite Catholic Church in Perth Amboy for 63 years.
His family and his church were his life.
Ed was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Navy, and was a self employed business owner in Sayreville for many years.
At last, Eddie is finally reunited with his beloved wife of 63 years, and his one and only "girlfriend", Margie, who died in 2010.
He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Margaret Sutkowski Corrigan of Manahawkin, his 3 adoring granddaughters, Stacie Hutchinson of TN, Kristie Corrigan and her twin sister, Katie Corrigan both of Manahawkin, and his 3 beautiful great grandchildren, Eden, Luke, and Eve, all of TN, his loving sister, Dorothy Goerke of Ft. Meyers, FL . his devoted business partner, William Vigh of Colonia and dear goddaughter JoAnn Jupinka of Fords.

Private funeral services were held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Interment was in St. Michael's Cemetery.
