Edward Moreira Sr. 91, of Fords, passed away peacefully at home on September 22, 2026. He was born on August 2, 1935, in Walpole, MA. He was a Specialty Gas Technician, for Union Carbide in Keasbey. He enjoyed building, fixing and inventing things. Edward had a great sense of humor and liked spending time with family and friends. He and his family spent their summers camping in Cape May.

Edward was predeceased by his wife, Noreen Moreira; a son, Edward Moreira Jr., and a sister, Madelyn Cirasa.

He is survived by two sons: Joe Moreira, and his wife, Lynda, of Fords, and Bob Moreira, and his wife, Amy, of Fords; three grandchildren: Edward III, Joesph Jr., and Michael; and a sister, Lucy Andrade, of Holmdel.
