Edward W. McCann 56, of Edison entered into eternal rest, February 1, 2018 at his home.  He was born in Perth Amboy and was formerly of Iselin, Edison, and Sayreville before moving to Highland Park.

Ed worked as a custodian with the Sayreville Board of Education for the past 6 years.

He was a communicant of St. James R C Church in Woodbridge.

Ed is survived by his siblings William of Highland Park, Joseph of Brick, Matthew of Avenel, Richard of Honesdale, PA, Rose of Annville, PA, Kathryn of Edison, Jacqueline Mason of New Bern, NC, and Wendy Saddler of South Amboy, and many nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be held on Friday at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, during the visitation from 5-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN.
