Obituary of Edward F. Kuchie


Edward F. Kuchie, 70, of Woodbridge, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison. Mr. Kuchie was born in Rahway to the late Frank and Mary Szalaji Kuchie and had lived all of his life in Woodbridge. He gradated from Woodbridge High School, Class of 1970 and attended Middlesex County College. He was employed as a Forms designer/Printing specialist for 40 years. His last employment was with Staples Corp. in Raritan Center, Edison NJ before retiring in 2021. Edward was an active member of the St. James RC Church, Woodbridge. He was a Past Grand Knight and Trustee of the Knights Of Columbus, Middlesex Council # 857 Woodbridge and was a 4Th degree member of Assembly No.667 in Middlesex County, NJ. He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America Troop 31 (Port Reading) and Troop 143 (Woodbridge).
Mr. Kuchie is survived by his loving wife, of forty 49 years, Linda A. Amaczi Kuchie, his two sons Edward J. Kuchie and his wife Nicole of Hamilton, NJ and Michael D. Kuchie and his wife Kelly of Toms River, NJ, his two daughters, Lisa A. Conklin and her husband Gregory of Millstone Twp., and Jennifer H. Harrison and her husband Christopher of Manalapan, NJ, and his sister Madelon Kuchie of Woodbridge, NJ. He is also survived by his Nine grandchildren: Isabelle, Kathryn, Liana, Olivia, Benjamin, Penelope, Joseph, Charlotte, Emma and several nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held Friday 6/10/22 at 9:45 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords, NJ. Followed by a 10:30 am mass in the St. James RC church, Woodbridge, NJ. Interment will follow in the Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation hours will be held Thursday 6/9/22 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
