Edward Kaplan 91, of Edison entered into eternal rest August 21, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and was formerly of Florida before moving back to Edison in 2016.

Edward retired from Field Brothers in Woodbridge after 50 years.

He was a member of the Metuchen Elks Lodge #1914, a life member of the Jewish War Veterans, a live member of the Bound Brook American Legion, and a member of the Mason Mt. Zion Lodge, Shriners, Legion of Honor, and Clowns.

He proudly served our country in the Army during WWII.

Edward was predeceased by his wife Elaine in April of 2017, and his brother Samuel in 2016.  He is survived by his children Sharon Ginsberg and her husband Ronald, and Martin P. Kaplan all of Edison, his grandchildren Adam Ginsberg, Melissa Rutta, and Julie Ginsberg-Ferraro and four great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday August 28, 2018 at 10 am at Beth Israel Memorial Park in Woodbridge.
