Obituary

Edward Charles Gorman 91 entered into eternal rest, January 14, 2016 at his home. He was born in Brooklyn, and has resided in Woodbridge Township since 1954.

Ed was the Senior Buyer at Boy Scouts of America in North Brunswick for 34 years before retiring in 1991.

He faithfully served his country in the Army during WW II serving in the JASCO 294 outfit surviving D-Day. He was a Life member of American Legion T. Nulty Post #471, in Iselin, having served as Post Commander for several terms, and co-founded the Blue Star Family support group at the post, and a member of the VFW Post #2636 in Iselin. He also served on the Board of Directors at the NJ Veterans Home in Menlo Park.

Ed was a communicant at St. Cecelia's R C Church in Iselin and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3639 in Iselin.

He was predeceased by his brothers James and William. Ed is survived by Josephine A. Arcieri Gorman his wife of 68 ½ years, his three sons Kevin and his wife Linda of Woodbridge, Brian and his wife Rosemary of Princeton, and Dennis and his wife Rosanne of Fords, five grandchildren Michael, Sarah, Robert, Edward, and Charles, and two great grandchildren Kaylie and Connor.

Funeral services will be held on January 20, 2016 at 10 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10:30 am Liturgy at St. Cecelia's Church. Interment will be in the NJ Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
Visitation is Tuesday from 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm.
