Edward F. Filik, 87, of Iselin, entered into eternal rest, May 16, 2017, at JFK Medical Center in Edison.  He was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Iselin for more than 53 years.

Edward was a Supervisor at Amarada Hess in Sewaren for 31 years before retiring in 1986.  He was a communicant of Blessed John Paul II Parish at St. Stephen's RC Church in Perth Amboy and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #299 in Perth Amboy.

Edward was predeceased by his wife, Audrey Jane Filik, in 2007.  He is survived by his children: Debra Jane Filik of Stillwater, OK; Donna Lynn Krapf and her husband, Charles, of Carteret; and Gary Filik and his wife, Lori, of Old Bridge; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ, followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Stephen's Church, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.  Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
