Edward George Conklin, 40, of Iselin, entered into eternal rest, August 16, 2019, at Southern Ocean County Hospital in Manahawkin.  He was born in Edison and was formerly of Fords before moving to Iselin last year.  Edward was an Attorney and Social Worker with the State of New Jersey in Avenel for the past 10 years.  He was a member of the New Jersey Bar Association.

Edward is survived by his parents, Edward and Linda (Morgan) Conklin, of Fords; his sister, Leslie Behnken, of Toms River; his nieces, Vanessa and Olivia Rosoff; and his nephew, Brandon Conklin.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at 10:00 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.  Entombment will be in St. Gertrude Mausoleum, Colonia.  Visitation is Tuesday, August 20, 2019, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. In lieu  of flowers contributions are requested to the Woodbridge Animal Shelter or a favorite charity.
