Private funeral services will be held for Eduvigis " Virginia" Rodriguez, 89, of Perth Amboy, NJ , who passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday August 3, 2024 with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico on October 17, 1934, and immigrated to the United States at the youthful age of 16 years and had resided in Perth Amboy for most of her entire life.

She was a former seamstress, a devout Roman Catholic, she enjoyed gardening, taking her long daily walks, dining out, trips to Atlantic City NJ, and most of all cherished her four precious grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paulino Rodriguez, who died in 1998.

She leaves behind her four beloved daughters, who also were her caregivers, Miriam Rodriguez, and her partner, Andrea Jamison, of Effort , PA, Wanda Morales and her husband, Richard of Perth Amboy, NJ, Minerva Lugo and her husband Anthony, of Cranford, NJ and Lourdes Brown and her husband William J Brown of Monroe Twp., NJ, and her four precious grandchildren Eric Figueroa, Richard Morales, JR., Jaylen W. Brown and Kayla Rose Lugo.

She will be laid to rest beside her late husband Paulino at  Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy.
