Edna Bernice Zimmerman's Obituary
Edna Bernice Zimmerman, 83 of Boynton Beach, FL, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in West Palm Beach FL.
Born in Bronx, NY, formerly of Fords and Perth Amboy, she had resided in Boynton Beach for the last 15 years.
Receiving her Masters Degree at City College of NY., Edna was a retired Chemistry and Science Teacher, teaching at the Bronx High School of Science, Perth Amboy High School and Herbert Hoover School in Edison.
She was past president of the Perth Amboy Chapter of the B'nai B'rith, Hadassah, and past president of Meals On Wheels at JFK Medical Center, Edison.
She was predeceased by her son, Mark Zimmerman (1993) and brother, Walter Greenberg.
Edna leaves behind, her beloved husband of 57 years, Nathan M. Zimmerman, her sister-in-law, Muriel Greenberg of FL and sister-in-law Lillian Zimmerman of Forest Hills, NY, two nieces and a nephew.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 11 am at United Bros. Beth Israel Mordecai Cemetery, Ernston Rd., Sayreville, NJ.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Flynn and son Funeral Home, Fords, NJ.
