E. Robert "Bob" Hendricksen's Obituary
E. Robert "Bob" Hendricksen, 80, of Spotswood, passed peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Care One at the Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy.
He was born in Perth Amboy and was formerly of Highland Park and South River, before moving to Spotswood in 1993. He served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam War. He retired in 1993, after more than 26 years as an operator with E.I. DuPont of Parlin.
He was predeceased by his parents, Hans and Ruth Hendricksen and brother, Carl Hendricksen.
He leaves behind, his daughter, Janice Hendricksen of Beachwood, NJ; his grandson, Michael Shardo of Huntsville, AL; his brother, Ronald Hendricksen of Maryland; and his sisters, Diane Hendricksen of East Brunswick and Lynn Myers of Delaware.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 3, 2015, from 2 pm to 4 pm only, at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Cremation will follow privately. His cremated remains will be buried in Clover Leaf Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge, on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
